We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest and commitment to participating in the first Canadian hosted, Connectathon Week. The response has been tremendous with all four events completely sold out!

As we near the start of an incredible week of programming and testing, we wanted to share some important details with you to help you plan your week.

The schedule for the week based on Eastern Standard Time is:

Note that the Projectathon and Connectathon floor are limited to participants except for the VIP Tours on Tuesday afternoon from 3:30 – 5:00 when Experience Day participants will be provided with a tour.

Getting to the Hotel

The InterContinental Toronto Centre is a premier luxury hotel and event space located at 225 Front St W, in the heart of downtown Toronto. Perfectly positioned adjacent to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and steps from iconic attractions like the CN Tower, Rogers Centre, and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, the hotel offers the ideal blend of sophistication and convenience for both business and leisure travelers.


From Toronto Pearson Airport:  

Options are:

  1. Taxis and Limos at the designated pick-up area on the terminal curbs, Arrivals Level
  2. Uber pickups located at the Arrivals Level in front of Door D in Terminal 3, and at Door Q on the Ground Level of Terminal 1. 
  3. The UP Express train from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Union Station, which is a short walk to the hotel, takes 25 minutes. The train departs every 15 minutes, seven days a week. The UP Express station at Pearson International Airport is in Terminal 1, directly adjacent to the Link Train service linking Terminals 1 and 3. Union station is a short walk to the hotel. Follow the steps from Union Station from here.

From Union Station:

Options are:

  1. Walk out to Front Street and walk west to the hotel entrance at 225 Front Street.
  2. From the UP Train exit, you can either:

a. (Shortest and simplest but requires 2 minutes outside) Walk west in the skywalk, pass the escalator to the end of the skywalk. Take the elevator (if working) or stairs down to the ground. When you come out, you will be on Simcoe Street (street runs North/South). Walk across the street and either walk on front to go in the main doors or go through the valet parking area directly across from the skywalk. NOTE: The elevator is periodically under maintenance. There are two large flights of stairs.


From Billy Bishop Airport:

The hotel is a 30-minute walk, so you may wish to take a ride service or taxi which is only 8-10 minutes.
