Version Description:
CA Core+ v1.1.0 DFT-preBallot has been published to support early stakeholder engagement, feedback, and implementation planning.
This release is based on CA Core+ harmonization steps held with stakeholders since CA Core+ v0.3 release, which is also an alignment with the CACDI (Canadian Core Data for Interoperability) and the PCHDCF (pan-Canadian Health Data Content Framework).
Stakeholders are encouraged to use this version between Sept 2025 and March 2026, and contribute their feedback via the mechanism below.
In addition, all stakeholders planning to participate in the projectathon event 2026, for your awareness, this version of CA Core+ (v1.1.0 DFT pre-Ballot) will be the version intended for CA Core+ conformance testing.

How to Provide Feedback:
If you have feedback on the CA Core+ v1.1.0 DFT-preBallot, to be considered for a future release, you can now submit your feedback via Jira as defined below;
- To submit feedback, you must register as a user on Infoway’s InfoCentral, be an active member of a working group, and be granted access to the JIRA projects.
- To register on the InfoCentral website, go to: https://infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca. Click on the Register link and follow the instructions to create an account.
- Once registered in InfoCentral, you can request access to Jira directly in a working group meeting, or by emailing [email protected].
- To access Jira, go to: https://informs.infoway-inforoute.ca (Note: this link will only work if you have been granted access to JIRA), and under Projects select CA Core+ (CC).
- Submit your feedback on Jira either as technical correction or change request against version v1.1.0 DFT-preBallot. You will receive automatic notifications when your submissions receive comments or reach milestones during the review process.
- All collaborators are encouraged to browse through previously submitted feedback to see if a topic has already been discussed.

- Consolidated laboratory and pathology Observation profiles into a single Observation profile.
- Relaxed MS/cardinalities, added obligations, and tightened references on many profiles.
