CA Core+ Testing Approach
The 2025 Projectathon is dedicated to supporting Patient Summary FHIR implementation projects across Canada. In support of interoperability and connected care, Canada Health Infoway and the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) have been developing the Canadian Core for Data Interoperability (CACDI) and the CA Core+ FHIR Implementation Guide as a starting point for Testing will focus on validating that the vendor systems have the capabilities needed to securely exchange well-formed Patient Summary information with other systems.
