How do I provide feedback on the PS-CA v0.1 specifications?

The Public Review period for the Pan-Canadian Patient Summary Interoperability Specifications v0.1 is now openclosed. Infoway is in the process of dispositioning the comments and will issue release notes and Q&As with the PS-CA v0.2.

The PS-CA v0.2 will be released on January 28, 2022.

The timeline for Public Review is: November 24, 2021 – December 17, 2021January 28 - February 14, 2022.

You may review the PS-CA Specifications in the following formats:

  • Download the PS-CA specifications in PDF format from the corresponding links on the Release page
  • Review the PS-CA Specifications in InfoScribe, from the corresponding link on the Release page.

How to submit your feedback:

  • All Collaborators are invited to document comments using the Public Review Comments PS-CA v0.2 spreadsheet, coming soon. 
  • Send an email to [email protected], with Subject Line "PS-CA", including the Comments spreadsheet as an attachment.
  • We kindly ask that each organization submit all comments within one spreadsheet submission. 
  • Upon submission, you will receive an acknowledgement email with a reference number. Our team will complete a review of all comments, determine the appropriate disposition for each item and incorporate changes and backlog items into the release notes for v0.2.

A Projectathon, one step of the complete testing process, is a best-practice collaborative approach where implementers test specifications and solutions using IHE Methodology and Tools to accelerate interoperability. For more information, please visit the PS-CA Prototyping and Validation page.

Will there be information webinars?

Yes, there will be informational webinars for the pan-Canadian Patient Summary Specifications and Proposed pan-Canadian Reference Architecture to provide additional guidance and opportunities for discussion. These webinars will be posted in InfoCentral Patient Summary Events calendar. When new events are added to the calendar, Infoway will create a post in the Patient Summary Working Group Forum to notify you. Please ensure you are subscribed to Notifications to receive updates via your email.
