About the ePrescribing Subsets
The pan-Canadian e-Prescribing subsets provide a standardized way for systems to capture, store, retrieve and transmit related health information.
Implementation of the e-Prescribing subsets will allow the community based prescribers (such as physicians and nurse practitioners), either through their existing electronic medical records (EMR) or standalone applications, to enable the electronic transmission of prescriptions to community retail pharmacies.
