Projectathons are an important step and best-practice approach in testing and validation of a specification package, where implementers demonstrate live interoperability of solutions in conformance with pan-Canadian specifications. Test scenarios are managed using the Canadian version of the Gazelle interoperability testing platform. Projectathon 2025 will focus on the Specifications listed in the Scope page.
Infoway, in collaboration with provinces and territories, invites vendors to participate in Projectathon 2025.
PTs that are implementing pan-Canadian Roadmap specifications should send technical teams with sandbox environments to test solutions alongside vendors.

Projectathon testing will take place form Feb 3 - 7, 2025. Preparation time for testing is difficult to estimate as familiarity with FHIR resources and tooling varies by vendor. Projectathon 2025 is focused on the specification listed here, and the goal of this event is to bring implementers together to demonstrate live interoperability and readiness to implement harmonized national and provincial specifications. Yes. Though it is not possible to do this directly in the Click Up system, please feel free to send us an email and we will manually manage. For example, if you would like to register the equivalent of 1 person across the week but need to change developers mid week, please just register the 1 developer. Then, send us an email at [email protected] and we will manage the second developer as a replacement manually.
