Infoway RFC process for English Content Begins with Requestor 

1. Submit RFC using InfoRMS, include supporting information
2. Infoway reviews RFC and supporting information
3. IsIs there a code available in Core or Canadian extension?
   1. If YES
      1. Infoway rejects the RFC as duplicate and provides information on existing code in InfoRMS
      2. End Process
   2. If NO
      1. Continue
4. Are there sufficient details to proceed? Is the request valid from the domain perspective and does the it meet acceptance criteria?
   1. If YES 
      1. IHTSDO will publish in future release of Core
      2. End Process
   2. If NO
      1. Continue
5. Is the request considered pan- Canadian?
   
   1. If YES 
      1. Content with be authored for publication in the Canadian Extension
      2. End process
   2. If NO  
      1. Request is rejected, submitter will use local code to represent.
      2. End process
