Updates and Publications
SNOMED International updates and publishes the SNOMED CT® Editorial Guide twice a year with the International Release of SNOMED CT (in January and July).
For the first time, SNOMED International has published an Interim release in support of the coronavirus respiratory disease outbreak. The March Canadian edition is based on this updated March International version.
Infoway updates all Canadian Editorial Guidelines (as required) and publishes them with the Canadian Edition release of SNOMED CT (in March and September).
For the first time, in this March 2020 release, the Canadian Edition of SNOMED CT now includes all translated terms from the SNOMED CT Common French Translation Extension, with translation done by Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Canada, and PHAST(France).
